Jim Bays

Jim Bays
Jim resides in Adams, WI with his wife Mary Ann and son Jim II. The Bays milk 125 cows and farm a total of 1,500 acres, 430 of which they own. Their 1,500 acres of crops include corn, alfalfa and soybeans of which 300 acres are being irrigated. The Bays also raise market steers.

Jim previously served on the Farm Credit board (Madison and Badgerland) for 13 years and was re-elected to the board in 2008.

Gary Boyke

Gary Boyke
Gary resides in Fond du Lac, WI with his wife, Rose. Together they own and operate Vir-Clar Farms LLC. For 20 years the main focus at Vir-Clar was selling registered bulls and embryos throughout the world. In 1995, the Boyke’s increased their herd to 300 cows, and they have grown to 1,300 cows and 1,800 acres of land. In 2004, the Boyke’s built a methane digester that produces electricity for 300 homes in the Fond du Lac area.

Gary has served on the Badgerland Financial board since 2006.

Mark Cade

Mark Cade
Mark resides in Westby, WI with his wife, Cheryl, where they operate Cade’s Corner Holsteins. The farm consists of 115 head of registered Holsteins and 250 acres of alfalfa, corn and soybeans. Approximately 75 percent of their crops are used on the farm and the rest is marketed.

Mark has worked with Badgerland Financial since 1980 and has served on the Badgerland Financial board since 2006.

Jim Cullen

Jim Cullen
Jim resides in Milton, WI where he currently farms 230 acres of corn and soybeans. Until 2001, Jim managed his own dairy operation.

Jim has been a Badgerland Financial director since 1996.

Jerome Durst

Jerome Durst
Jerome resides in Richland Center, WI with his wife Sandy. Jerome farms with his daughter Angela, son Loren and son-in-law Jamie Larse. Durst-Larse Farms LLC is a 460 cow dairy raising all replacements and growing corn and alfalfa on 1,180 owned acres and 500 rented. Jerome was recognized as an Outstanding Young Farmer in 1978 and has acted as an agriculture ambassador to Russia through Land O’ Lakes.

Jerome previously served 18 years on the Farm Credit board and was re-elected in 2009.

Tim Evert

Tim Evert
Tim resides in North Freedom with his wife Lisa. Tim is an owner/partner in United Dreams Dairy LLC. The dairy consists of 420 milking cows and 430 head of young stock. Evert Farms Inc. consists of 415 acres of owned and rented work land. It custom raises heifers and feed for United Dreams.

Tim has been a member of Badgerland Financial since 1988 and was elected to the board in 2010.

Jim Fahey

Jim Fahey
Jim lives in Belleville, WI with his wife, Sheryl and sons Mark & Chuck. Together they operate Prairieland Dairy LLC. Their farm consists of 700 milk cows, replacement livestock and 2,000 acres. In 1999 they were honored as a World Dairy Expo host farm.

The Fahey’s have worked with Badgerland Financial since 1967. Jim previously served six years with the Farm Credit Services of Madison board and was re-elected to the board in 2001.

George Laufenberg

George Laufenberg
George resides in Dodgeville, WI with his wife, Patsy. The Laufenberg’s farm consists of 576 acres, both owned and rented. They milk 110 Holstein cows, feed approximately 130 head of young stock and raise 60 feeder steers a year.

George has worked with Badgerland Financial since 1962 and has served as a director since 1982, including eight years as board chair.

Jerome Laufenberg

Jerome Laufenberg
Jerome lives in Alma Center, WI with his wife, Hope. Jerome has been a self-employed farmer since 1977. He raises corn, soybeans, oats and hay on 3,500 acres. He also grows and finishes 1,500 steers annually and 160 beef cows are bred mainly for show cattle and breeding stock.

Jerome has been a Badgerland Financial member since 1977 and was elected director in 1994. He currently serves as board chair.

John Manske

John Manske
John is an outside director for Badgerland Financial. He is Director of Government Relations for Cooperative Network, a statewide trade association.

John has served on the board since 2002.

Lori Meinholz

Lori Meinholz
Lori resides in Middleton, WI with her husband, Art. Their dairy farm is a partnership with two of Art’s brothers and two nephews. The partnership operates as Blue Star Dairy Farms, with farms in Middleton, DeForest and Arlington. Lori and Art operate the Middleton dairy, milking 500 cows and raising 150 young stock. All forages are raised in a joint effort between the farms. Lori is primarily in charge of the young calves, herd health and payroll.

Lori has served as a Badgerland Financial director since 1997, including vice chair.

Bernard Meyer

Bernard Meyer
Bernard resides in Elkhorn, WI with his wife, Diane. Their farm consists of 153 acres, both owned and rented, on which they grow primarily corn, alfalfa, and wheat.

Bernard has been farming since 1969. He has served as a Badgerland Financial director since 1983.

Robert Nigh Robert Nigh
Robert resides in Viroqua, WI with his wife, Betty. Robert and his brother own and operate Lirr Farm, a dairy and crop farm of 1,170 acres, with an additional 300 acres rented. Their operation also includes 90 registered Holstein dairy cows plus young stock.

The Nigh family has worked with Badgerland Financial for nearly 40 years. Robert has served on the board since 2005.
Jim Rickert

Jim Rickert
Jim resides in Eldorado with his wife Kelly. Jim is an owner/operator of Rickert Brothers LLC. The operation consists of 850 Registered Holsteins with 1700 acres owned and rented.

Jim has been a member of Badgerland Financial since 1981 and was elected to the board in 2010.

Greg Pollesch

Greg Pollesch
Greg resides in Oshkosh, WI with his wife, Jo Ann. He is an outside director for Badgerland Financial. He brings 32 years of financial leadership in manufacturing entities, the last seven of which were agricultural based. Greg is the Chief Financial Officer for the Galloway Company of Neenah, WI. He received his masters in business administration from UW Madison and his undergraduate degree in accounting from UW Milwaukee.

Greg has served on the Badgerland Financial board since 2007.

 JoAnn Wingers JoAnn Wingers
JoAnn resides in Randolph, WI with her husband, Don. They own a 100-cow dairy farm consisting of 1,735 acres (1,400 owned). They also raise additional livestock. The Wingers grow crops for feed and sale, including corn, soybeans, alfalfa and sweet corn. The Wingers also sell and truck sweet corn silage that they obtain from a local canning factory. JoAnn and Don have worked with Badgerland Financial for 40 years.

JoAnn has served on Badgerland Financial’s board since 2002.
 Mike Winker Mike Winker
Mike resides in Fredonia, WI with his wife, Judi. Together they own and operate a 75-cow dairy and cash crop operation. Mike serves on the Ozaukee County Dairy Promotion Committee and serves as Ozaukee County Farm Bureau president.

Mike was elected a Badgerland Financial director in 1997 and currently serves as vice chair.
